Rexroth HED8OA-2X/350 Hydro-Electric Pressure Switch For Transition Resistance Less Than 50 MΩ
The hydro-electric pressure switch type HED 8 is a piston type pressure switch. It mainly consists of housing, installation kit with piston, compression spring, adjustment element and micro switch.
When the pressure to be monitored drops below the set value, the micro switch is operated. The pressure to be monitored is inputed via the nozzle at the piston. Meanwhile, it gets supported by the spring plate, which then transmits the movement to the micro switch, and releases it when the set pressure is achieved. This shift is able to control the electric circuit„s on or off state, which depends on the specific circuit set-up.
The spring plate also brings about a mechanical positive stop to protect the micro switch from possible mechanical destruction in sudden pressure drop and overpressure, while avoiding solid compression from the compression spring.
Noticement: To ensure longer serving life, the pressure switch should be mounted with low vibrations and adequately guarded against hydraulic pressure surges.
The subplate mounting/pipeline installation meets the standards according to ISO 16873 for flange connection and ISO 4401 for vertical stacking elements. It offers 5 different pressure ratings and features up to 4 adjustment types:
The electrical connection can be done with a large cubic connector or with an M12 x 1 connector, with the potential-free switching of currents between 1 mA to 2 A. Furthermore, the UL approval is granted for pressure ranges up to 350 bar. The micro switch also allows NC/NO contact functions.
