Features:

Primary Seal

TS-2000 Rod Seal is designed to be completely leakproof. Its unique self-compensating and self-relieving feature is able to withstand any possible variations and effectively cope with any potential mechanical deflection.

Jewel Rod Gland Assembly

This assembly is unique in that it can be replaced without needing to disassemble the cylinder. It sports a long bearing surface which is inboard of the seals, guaranteeing that it gets the necessary lubrication from within the cylinder. A sturdy O-ring is used to complete the seal and assure its tight connection between the gland and head, acting like a prevailing torque-type lock.

Secondary Seal

The Double-Service Wiperseal™ was specially designed to both wipe away any oil film adhering to the rod during the extend stroke and clean it on the return stroke.

Piston Rod Stud

This part is available on 2.000" diameter rods and smaller, and can only be used alongside standard style #4 rod end threads. The threads of the studs have been carefully rolled and they have all been made from high strength steel. The connection between the stud and piston rod is solidified with anaerobic adhesive.

Piston Rod

These rods are made of medium carbon steel. The inductions casehardening, hard chrome-plating and polishing to 10 RMS finish make them incredibly strong. Depending on the size, the material always has a minimum yield between 85,000 and 100,000 psi between 0.625" to 4.000". While larger diameters may vary between 57,000 to 90,000 psi depending on their rod diameter.

One-Piece Nodular Iron Piston

The wide piston surface which contacts the cylinder bore reduces the bearing loads, and an anaerobic adhesive is used to provide a lasting secure connection between the piston and rod.
