The pressure regulator ensures that the working pressure at the outlet remains constant, regardless of any pressure fluctuations in the compressed air network. The secondary exhaust built into the regulator can reduce the operating pressure, even in the absence of any compressed air users.

The pressure regulator is available in two design variants. The first variant is LR(S)-x-G, which is primarily meant for standard applications. The second variant is LR(S)-x-G-7 and is ideal for special cases, including regulators that operate in the pressure range of up to 7 bar. This variant provides optimal flow and control characteristics.

Features:

The regulator has undergone significant improvements in its design. For instance, it now features a larger and sturdier brass housing that makes it more durable and resistant to damage. The brass material is also perfect for moderating the temperature inside the regulator, ensuring optimal performance even under extreme temperatures.

In terms of performance, the regulator offers excellent flow rate capabilities, making it ideal for high-intensity applications. The pressure adjustment mechanism features a precise diaphragm regulator and a detenting rotary knob to ensure accurate and stable output pressure. This design feature ensures that the pressure remains constant even when there are significant fluctuations in input pressure.

The regulator also comes with an identical mounting bracket to the D series. This design feature makes it easier to install and use, especially if you are upgrading from an existing D series regulator.

For input pressures, the regulator is suitable for use with up to p1=20 bar. It also features two pressure regulation ranges, namely 0.5…7 bar and 0.5…12 bar. This wide pressure range makes the regulator suitable for use in various applications, from industrial to laboratory settings.
