The monostable spool valves have now achieved compliance with the IEC 61508 Standard (2010 route2H version). TÜV has certified them (551 series) and EXIDA (551-553 series) with integrity levels of SIL 2 for HFT = 0 and SIL 3 for HFT = 1.

These spool valves come with threaded port connections and "NAMUR" style interface. They are adjustable to suit 3/2 NC or 5/2 functions for controlling double-acting and single-acting actuators.
