Stainless Steel Butt Welding Fitting (Elbow Cap Reducer Tee Cross Stub Ends Saddle)

Stainless steel butt welding fittings are designed to be easily fabricated and welded. They can be welded using various welding techniques, such as TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding, MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding, and manual arc welding. Proper welding procedures and techniques are essential to ensure the integrity and corrosion resistance of the welded joints.

Butt weld fittings are pipe fittings used to change of direction of flow, to branch off, reduce pipe size or attach auxiliary equipment. Butt weld pipe fittings in stainless steel are the joining components that make possible the assembly of valves, pipes and equipment onto the piping system. And butt weld fittings are available in multiple shapes, such as elbows, tees, caps, reduces, stub ends and olets.

The standard butt welding fittings can be furnished in various forms covering elbow (90°, 45°, long radius, short radius, 3D radius, reducing), 180° return (long radius,short radius), tee & cross (straight or reducing), lap joint stub end (long pattern , short pattern), cap, reducer (concentric or eccentric). The wall thickness of the fitting is often specified by a schedule number, which is a dimensionless number that is widely used as a convenient designation for use in ordering pipe and fittings. These schedule numbers are generally specified in ASME B36.10M and ASME B36.19M.
