The alloy composition of 1050 aluminium:
1050 Aluminum
As a wrought alloy, it is not used in castings. Instead, it is usually formed by extrusion or rolling.
1050 alloy is also sometimes used for the manufacture of heat sinks, since it has a higher thermal conductivity than other alloys. It has low mechanical strength compared to more significantly alloyed metals. It can be strengthened by cold working, but not by heat treatment.
What is CC – Continuous Cast ?
The alloys are cast in form of continuous strips. The aluminium casting is then cold rolled. Continuous
cast is not well suited for an anodising process as this casting method gives a thicker defective surface
layer and a non-homogeneous microstructure.
Properties of the aluminum circle
The properties of aluminum circle for pots, cookware, non-stick aluminium circle (or shaped blanks) make them ideal for use in a number of markets including the cookware, automotive and lighting industries etc :
1.Low anisotropy, which facilitates deep drawing
2.Strong mechanical properties
3.High and homogeneous heat diffusion
4.Ability to be enameled, covered by PTFE (or others), anodized
5.Good reflectivity
6. High strength-to-weight ratio
7.Durability and resistance to corrosion
