5754 High Strength Aluminum Sheet Marine Applications
Product Description
Alloy 5754 has excellent corrosion resistance especially to seawater and industrially polluted atmospheres.
It has higher strength than 5251. This high strength makes 5754 highly suited to marine applications requiring a combination of strength and resistance to corrosion in sea water.
Floating dock is a watertight compartment welded by 5754 aluminium alloy sheet. No paint or chemical treatment is needed for structure or floating dock.
In the marine environment, it is easy to maintain if use the aluminum alloy helicopter platform, 5754 has good corrosion resistance.
It takes profile splicing mode instead of welding which can prolong service life and avoid failure.
Packaging & Delivery
Packaging: Standard export package on wooden pallet OR as customize package
Port: Shanghai, Qingdao, Ningbo,Tianjin (as customer required)
Lead time: 25-45days
Part of Alloy 5754 templers
O - Soft
H111 - Some work hardening imparted by shaping processes but less than required for H11 temper
H22 - Work hardened by rolling then annealed to quarter hard
H24 - Work hardened by rolling then annealed to half hard
H26 - Work hardened by rolling then annealed to three-quarter hard
Heat treatment process
1) Homogenization annealing: heating 440℃; holding 12-14 h; air cooling.
2) Rapid annealing: heating 350-410 ℃; holding time 30-120 min; air or water cooling.
3) High temperature annealing: heating 350-420 ℃; when the thickness of finished product is more than 6 mm or less than 6 mm, the holding time is 2-10 minutes or 10-30 minutes; air cooling.
4) Low-temperature annealing: heating 250-300 ℃ or 150-180 ℃; holding time 1-2 h, air-cooling.

*Elongation limits stated do not cover the full range of thicknesses shown. *With the increasing of cold rolling deformation, the tensile strength and yield strength of alloy plates increase gradually, while the elongation decreases. And the annealing time on the me-chanical propertied of 5754 aluminum alloy is less sensitive than the annealing temperature. |
