Dry magnetic separator is an ore-dressing machinery for the separation of dry magnetic minerals. As for separation of minerals, different from the wet magnetic separator which requires liquid as diluents to improve the efficiency of separation, the dry magnetic separator requires dry minerals to be separated, and the particles should be able to move freely in independently free state; otherwise, results of magnetic separation will be affected, even resulting in result of inseparableness.

Working principle
When the ore pulp flow into the magnetic field, the strong magnetic minerals are adsorbed on the surface of the drum. The weak magnetic and non-magnetic minerals are cast off and discharged, while the strong magnetic minerals on the surface of the drum rotate with the drum and will be brought out of magnetic field to complete the sorting operation.
