The Elliptic Gear Flowmeter is a positive displacement flow measurement device designed for accurate and consistent monitoring of liquid flow in pipelines, whether continuous or intermittent. The total volume of the fluid is then determined based on the number of times the measuring chamber fills and discharges these volume portions successively and repeatedly.
