Introduction
The KLD804 80GHz Radar Liquid Level Transmitter is a highly efficient device. Specifically designed for slurry storage tanks, it functions as an excellent radar liquid level sensor. Operating with a power supply of 15 - 28VDC, it utilizes 80GHz radar technology to precisely measure liquid levels, providing accurate and reliable data for industrial operations.
Feature
On-site working conditions
The tested device is a refined evaporator, which evaporates the water content in the medium to obtain ethanol with higher purity, multi-layer stirring, and 5-6cm foam.
Remarks: The liquid level instrument used before is a double flange differential pressure liquid level transmitter, and the measurement effect is not satisfactory.
Measurement process
This is an improvement of the measurement scheme. Because the installation port of the reactor is limited and the installation port is inclined and non-vertical, the radar level gauge needs to be installed vertically on the top to achieve the best measurement results. At the initial installation, although it was installed diagonally, the 80G FM radar level gauge has a relatively small launch angle, and the signal is not affected by the stirring blade. After debugging, the level can be measured.

Installation Method
Flange Installation
When using flange installation, the minimum distance between the instrument and the tank wall should be 200mm.
Hoisting Installation
Note: Please avoid vibration, strong electromagnetic interference and loads during installation.
Misalignment method:
1. On-line calibration: on-site process equipment needs to stop production;
2. Reference point calibration: full scale setting;
3. Upper computer calibration: 250Ω resistor, Hart converter, USB interface are required.
Measurement results and analysis
After on-site testing, the 80Ghz frequency modulated radar level transmitter DCRD1000B4 was successfully applied to the level measurement of the ethanol solution in the evaporator, which overcomes the influence of steam, foam, and stirring on the measurement, and achieves a satisfactory measurement effect for users.
