Introduction
This 3.3V methane sensor, developed using TD-LAS technology, leverages a 1653.7nm laser to detect methane based on its characteristic absorption spectrum. It is immune to interference from water vapor and other gases. The sensor combines direct and wavelength modulation absorption techniques with an "N" type optical design, providing a long optical path and superior sensitivity. Low-temperature laser and photodetector devices are used along with a temperature compensation algorithm to ensure strong environmental adaptability. With its standard thread installation interface and communication protocol, it’s highly versatile. It’s used as the core part of methane gas monitors for spaces like underground areas, restaurants, industrial sites, and coal mines.

a) The sensor continuously outputs the measured methane concentration, measured temperature, measured pressure, laser signal strength, laser operating temperature and fault code through the standard TTL serial port
b) It has a self-test function, which can detect whether the laser, photoelectric detector and voltage stabilization sensor are normal, which helps to eliminate the fault point.
