Automatic or manual start of IG541 inert gas fire extinguishing system

IG541 fire extinguishing system fire extinguishing principle:

IG-541 fire extinguishing system fire extinguishing mechanism belongs to physical fire extinguishing method, mainly asphyxiation, reducing the oxygen concentration in the space. After the IG541 mixed gas (52% ammonia, 40% argon and 8% carbon dioxide) is released, it reduces the oxygen concentration to the point where it cannot support combustion to extinguish the fire. Usually, the air in the protection area contains 21% oxygen and less than 1% IG541. When the oxygen in the protection area drops below 15%, most of the combustibles will stop burning. The mixed gas can reduce the oxygen in the protection area to 12.5%, while increasing IG541 to 4%. The increase in the proportion of IG541 speeds up people's breathing rate and ability to absorb oxygen, thereby compensating for the lower oxygen concentration in the ambient atmosphere. When the fire extinguishing design concentration in the fire extinguishing system is not more than 43%, the system is safe and harmless to the human body.
