Introduction to IG541 mixed gas fire extinguishing agent
1. IG541 mixed gas fire extinguishing agent is currently internationally recognized as a "green" environmentally friendly gas fire extinguishing agent that can replace halogenated alkane fire extinguishing agents, and has been widely used internationally. It is a natural combination of nitrogen, argon, and carbon dioxide in a certain proportion (its composition and quality requirements are shown in the table below), with an ozone depletion potential value of ODP=0 (no damage to the atmospheric ozone layer) and a greenhouse effect value of DWG=0 (no greenhouse effect). It has the characteristics of colorless, odorless, non polluting equipment, non corrosiveness, and good insulation performance.
2. After the fire extinguishing agent is sprayed into the protective zone, its oxygen concentration decreases, while the carbon dioxide concentration in the protective zone increases. A moderate increase in carbon dioxide concentration can accelerate the respiratory rate of people, improve their oxygen absorption function, and to a certain extent, maintain the need for oxygen absorption in the human body;
3. IG541 fire extinguishing agent is stored and sprayed in a gaseous form. When released to the high-temperature protection zone where a fire occurs, it will not decompose, no toxic decomposition products will be produced, and it will not form thick fog or cause unclear vision, ensuring that emergency exits can be clearly seen when personnel escape.

2. System composition The IG541 gas fire extinguishing equipment provided by our company adopts total flooding fire extinguishing method, which can usually be divided into the following two forms:
(1) Unit independent IG541 fire extinguishing system (Figure 1): A set of IG541 fire extinguishing agent storage device corresponds to a set of pipe network system to protect a protected area.
