(I) The fire extinguishing mechanism of heptafluoropropane belongs to the category of chemical fire extinguishing. The fluorine-containing free radicals produced by the thermal decomposition of the fire extinguishing agent react with the active free radicals produced by the branch chain reaction during the combustion reaction in the gas phase, thereby inhibiting the chemical reaction during the combustion process to implement fire extinguishing.

The exhaust vents should be located at the bottom of the protection area and should be directly connected to the outdoors. (v) Heptafluoropropane gas cylinders should be kept away from heat sources. During transportation, they should be loaded and unloaded with care and collision is strictly prohibited.
