Description
The fibers, each 250μm, are housed in a loose tube constructed from high modulus plastic, filled with a water-
resistant compound. An FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) serves as the non-metallic strength member at the
core. These tubes, along with fillers, are stranded around the strength member, forming a compact and circular
cable core. To protect against water ingress, an Aluminum Polyethylene Laminate (APL) is applied around the
cable core, followed by a thin PE inner sheath. The tensile strength is enhanced with a layer of kevlar yarn, and
after longitudinally applying PSP (Polyethylene-Stranded Polyethylene), the cable is completed with a PE outer
sheath.
