GYFTY53 Direct Burial Cable For Outdoor Use With Anti-Rodent Protection
Description
The optical fibers are enclosed in a high-strength plastic tube filled with a waterproof compound. At the core, a
fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) acts as a dielectric strength member, potentially coated in polyethylene for cables
with higher fiber counts. Around this core, tubes and fillers are intricately arranged, forming a compact circular
core. To protect against water penetration, the cable core is shielded by water-blocking tape and a thin PE inner
sheath. Finally, a PSP layer is longitudinally applied over the inner sheath, completing the cable with a PE outer
sheath for added protection.
Application
1 Tailored for outdoor distribution and direct burial applications, ensuring robust performance in challenging
outdoor conditions.
2 Specifically engineered for trunk power transmission systems, offering efficiency and reliability in extensive
network setups.
3 Ideal for access and local networks in high electromagnetic interference environments, minimizing signal
disruptions for stable communication.
Characteristic
1 Strong Mechanical and Temperature Performance: It excels in enduring various temperatures and mechanical
stress, ensuring consistent operation.
2 Hydrolysis-Resistant High-Strength Loose Tube: This tube is specially designed to withstand moisture-related
degradation, ensuring durability even in moist environments.
3 Specialized Tube Filling Compound: Protects the delicate fibers, ensuring their longevity and optimal functionality.
4 Balanced Crush Resistance with Flexibility: The cable strikes a balance between being crush-resistant while
also flexible enough for versatile installations.
5 Complete Filling of Loose Tube and Cable Core with Filling Compound: Every inch of the tube and core is filled
with the protective compound, enhancing overall robustness.
6 PSP Layer Enhancing Moisture Resistance: A Polyethylene Terephthalate layer acts as an added shield against
moisture, enhancing the cable's resilience against wet conditions.
