Compact & Durable ADSS Single Sheath Aerial Fiber Optic Cable For Outdoor Use

Description

The cable's construction includes high modulus plastic tubes containing the fibers, filled with a water-resistant

compound. Adding an extra layer of protection, Kevlar surrounds this assembly. To ensure a waterproof and

compact structure, a water-blocking material separates the Kevlar yarn and the loose tube. Lastly, the cable

is encased in a durable polyethylene (PE) sheath, providing defense against external elements.

This specification delineates the essential requirements for single jacket ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting)

cables designed for use in aerial or duct installations.
