Polyethylene Jacket GYXTS Outdoor Armored Crush-Resistant Fiber Optic Cable
Description
This cable design incorporates optical fibers within flexible plastic tubes filled with a waterproof compound.
These tubes are further protected by water-blocking glass yarn and shielded by corrugated steel tape. Ad-
ditionally, the cable includes rip cords for accessibility and is encased in a robust HDPE (High-Density Pol-
yethylene) outer layer for enhanced durability.
Application
* Outdoor Adaptability: Specifically designed for outdoor distribution, this cable excels in diverse weather
conditions, guaranteeing consistent performance in challenging outdoor environments.
* Versatile Installation: Suitable for both aerial and pipeline laying methods, offering flexibility in deployment
strategies, ensuring efficient installation in various scenarios.
* Communication Versatility: Capable of supporting long-distance communication requirements as well as
local area network setups, making it adaptable for diverse networking applications across varying distances.
Characteristic
* Mechanical & Temperature Reliability: Demonstrates consistent performance across varying temperatures
and mechanical stress levels, ensuring reliability.
* Hydrolysis-Resistant High-Strength Tube: Offers durability and strength, resisting hydrolysis for prolonged
use even in moist conditions.
* Critical Fiber Protection: The specialized tube filling compound provides essential protection for the enclosed
fibers, safeguarding them effectively.
* Crush Resistance & Flexibility: Balances the ability to withstand pressure while maintaining flexibility for ver-
satile installation.
* UV Protection with PE Sheath: The PE sheath shields the cable from ultraviolet radiation, preserving its stru-
ctural integrity.
* Comprehensive Filling Design: The filling compounds within the loose tube and complete cable core filling
ensure thorough protection against environmental elements throughout the cable.
