Single Mode Central Loose Tube Armored 4 6 8 12 Core GYXTW
Description
In this cable design, optical fibers are housed within a loose tube composed of high modulus plastic, and
this tube is thoroughly filled with a water-resistant compound. To enhance the cable's structural integrity
and water resistance, a layer of corrugated steel tape is wrapped around the tube. Water-blocking material
is strategically applied between this corrugated steel tape and the loose tube. Two parallel steel wires are
situated on either side of the steel tape for additional support. The entire assembly is finalized with a prote-
ctive polyethylene (PE) sheath, completing a robust and watertight cable structure.
Application
This specification outlines the fundamental requirements for Central Loose Tube Outdoor Cable designed
for aerial or duct installations.
