Butt Welding Fittings ASTM 234 Butt Weld Pipe Reducer ASME B16.9
ASTM A234 butt welding fittings are used in pressure piping and vessel fabrication service at moderate rate and elevated temperatures, and available in various grades of carbon steel and alloy steel material. These materials are consisting of killed steel, forgings, bars, plates, seamless or fusion-welded tubular prod-ucts with filler metal added and confrom to the checmial requirements and mechnical properties.
Zizi Engineering is one of the top manufacturer, exporter and supplier of steel pipe fittings and flanges which are available in various sizes, dimension and shapes according to our client’s requirement. Such as butt weld pipe reducer, elbow, tee, corss and cap.
Specification
Standard | ASTM A234, ASME B16.9, ANSI B16.9 |
Size | 1/8” NB TO 48” NB. (Seamless & 100% X-Ray Welded, Fabricated) |
Thickness | Schedule S10, S20, S30, STD, S40, S60, XS, S80, S100, S120, S140, S160, XXS |
Elbow
According to the angle, we name it as 45 degree elbow and 90 degree elbow.
For the bending radius, there are long radius (1.5D) and short radius (1D)
Tee
When the run pipe size is same as branch pipe size, we can call it as equal tee or straight tee.
While the branch diameter is small than run pipe diameter, it is reducing tee.
Cap
It is used to seal the end of pipeline by welding. And they have same size and thickness.
Bend
It has same function and degree as elbow which used to change the direction of pipeline. The difference is the bending radius. Usually bend radius is 3D or above. Such 3D, 4D, 5D, 6D,7D, 8D, 9D, 10D, etc.
Stub End
Stub end is used to match with the lap joint flange. There are two type that long pattern and short pattern.
