Alloy steel socket weld pipe fittings are manufactured in accordance with ASME/ANSI B16.11 with large demand in market. They cover the material as grade 1, 5, 9, 11, 12, 22, 91. All these fittings are made from the best grades of alloy steel with the strength to sustain highly hazardous chemicals and gases.
Socket weld means a pipe or attachments is inserted into a area of fitting, flange or valve. Comparing with butt weld pipe fittings, they have a few small diameter which mostly below 2 inch. The socket weld fittings are covers 90 degree elbow, 45 degree elbow, equal and reducing tee, socket weld coupling, cap and lateral.
