Socket weld pipe fittings are available in material of carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel. The representative carbon steel grade is ASTM A105, it has a large extensive application, such as chemical, oil & gas, power plant, waterwaste treatment and other industires.
Socket weld means a pipe or attachments is inserted into a area of fitting, flange or valve. Comparing with butt weld pipe fittings, they are a few small diameter which are mostly below 2 inch. The socket weld fittings are covers 90 degree elbow, 45 degree elbow, equal and reducing tee, socket weld coupling, cap and lateral.
