M8 Threaded Tension Compression Sensor FSKE is made of stainless steel based on metal foil strain gauge technology intended for both traction and compression force measurement. Compression Traction Force Sensor FSKE offers 50N / 100N / 200N / 500N / 1000N / 2000N six rated capacities with maximum 0.1% non-linearity of the full scale. M8 tapped holes located on both ends can be used to mount attachments like load button, eye bolts, hooks to fit different applications. A Force Sensor is a transducer that converts mechanical load into mV signal proportional to the applied force.The acting force causes deformation of the measuring element,the bonded strain gage deforms accordingly which will cause the resistance change of the wheatstone bridge,under constant power supply, the output signal between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally,thus the load/force can be measured by measuring the output signal from the transducer.

Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of Tension Compression Load Cell FSKE is around 2.0mV/V.
Power supply of Push Pull Load Cell FSKE is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of Compression Traction Force Sensor FSKE is normally within -30mV...+30mV.
Example: Compression And Traction Force Transducer FSKE-500N with 2.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 5V DC,the output range is -10mV...+10mV

A signal conditioner can be used with the load cell to deliver -5~5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA output.

Example: Push Pull Force Sensor FSKE-1kN working with -5-5V amplifier,the Force-Voltage relationship will be 0-1000N compression load VS 0-5V output, 0-1000N traction load VS 0-(-5V) output, which is linear regardless of the measurement error.
