Pancake Load Cell FCMR is made from stainless steel based on strain gauge technology intended for both tension and compression force measurement. Pancake Load Cell FCMR offers 0-1kN / 0-2kN / 0-5kN / 0-10kN / 0-20kN five rated measuring ranges. The miniature load cell FCMR incorporates a M10x1.5 (or an M16x1.5) threaded hole running through the center of the transducer which can be used to mount attachments such as load buttons or eye bolts to fit different applications. Shear Web Load Cell FCMR is applicable for both static and dynamic force measurement. You may find pancake load cell FCMR suitable for force measurement in injection-molding machines, press machines and material testing equipment and so on. Model FCMR can also be modified or customzied as per requirements of our clients.

Pancake Load Cell FCMR consists of a wheatstone full bridge which is a network of four resistive legs. One or more of these legs can be active sensing elements. The Wheatstone bridge is the electrical equivalent of two parallel voltage divider circuits. R1 and R2 compose one voltage divider circuit, and R4 and R3 compose the second voltage divider circuit. The output of a Wheatstone bridge is measured between the middle nodes of the two voltage dividers.
Brief instruction of Rated output(or Sensitivity):
Definition: The signal produced by load cell(or force transducer) when rated load is applied, expressed in terms of mV/V. The rated output indicates the output signal range of a sensor.
Sensor output = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of miniature pancake load cell FCMR is normally around 1.5mV/V.
Power supply of shear web load cell FCMR is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of spoke type load cell FCMR is normaly within -22.5mV...+22.5mV.
Example: Pancake Load Cell FCMR-200kg with 1.5mV/V power by 10V DC,the output range is -15mV...+15mV proportional to the applied load.
Load cell + Signal amplifier:
The mV output from the loadcell transducer sometimes cannot be recognized by signal processing units directly,so signal conditioner is introduced to convert mV signal into 0-5V/0-10V/4-20mA for easy signal processing.
Example: Compression Force Load Cell FCMR-500kg working with 0-10V amplifier,the load-output relationship will be 0-500kg compressive load VS 0-10V output,0V output corresponds to 0kg, 1V output corresponds to 50kgf compression load, 5V output corresponds to 250kgf load,and so on.
