Brief instruction of Rated output(or Sensitivity):
Definition: The signal produced by load cell(or force transducer) when rated load is applied, expressed in terms of mV/V. The rated output indicates the output signal range of a sensor.
Sensor output = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of column load cell FFA is normally around 2.0mV/V.
Power supply of cylindrical load cell FFA is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of flange force sensor FFA is normally within 0-30mV(-30mV...+30mV for tension and compression force measurement).
Example one: Tension Compression Load Cell FFA-200kg with 2.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 10V DC,the output range is -20mV...+20mV.
Example two: Tension and Compression Load Cell FFA-500kg with 2.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 5V DC,the output range is -10mV...+10mV.
A load cell amplifier can be used to deliver -5~5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA output. Example: Cylindrical compression load cell FFA-200kg working with -10-10V amplifier,the Force-Voltage relationship will be 0-200kg compression load VS 0-10V output, 0-200kg tension load VS 0-(-10V) output which is linear. When you get 5V output,it means the current load is 100kg compression force,when you get -3V output,it means the current load is 60kg tension load,and so on.
