KFRP/AFRP{ fiber strength material/Aramid FRP (KFRP or AFRP) central member
KFRP STRENGTH MEMBER
Aramid FRP (KFRP) is a new type non-metallic composite which has been designed to be used as a strenght member for access fiber optic cables.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS:
1) Light weight and high strength.KFRP has low density and high strength.lts ratio of strength/weight and ratio lf modulus/weight are higher than those of steel wire and GFRP;
2) Low expansion.KFRP has a lower coefficient of thermal expansion than steel wire and GFRP in a wider temperature range;
3) Impact and break resistance.KFRP has much higher tensile strength(≥1700MPa),so it has much more impact and break reststance.The remained tensile strength could be 1300Mpa even it is broken;
4) Good flexibility.KFRP is flexible and easy to be bent.lts minimum bending diameter is only 24 times of the diameter of KFRP rod. ;
5) Enable the cable to be compact,aesthetic and flexible,specially for the indoor layout.
