Key process of the tomato paste processing line

1. Discharge platform
When fresh tomato come, normally with big truck, if discharge with human, it would be very difficult. So, we design the discharge platform and use water gun to discharge fresh fruit/tomato from truck, also use water to delivery fresh fruit/tomato to the processing line. And there is another function of the discharge platform, it can pre-wash fresh fruit/tomato before processing.
2. Elevator
This machine is used to delivery fresh fruit from outside the building to inside.
3. Washing
Fresh fruit should be washed thoroughly before crushing. For washing, we can use a soap dish with foam and a spray washing machine. If washing requirements are high, more washing steps can be added. In addition, for better cleaning effect, we can add ultrasonic cleaning and ozone.
4. Sorting
After washing, the surface of the fruit is clean, we can check the situation of all the fruit by human eye, and sort out the bad tomatoes by human.
5. Crushing for tomato processing
GFM-FC series crusher has the most advanced working principle, higher production precision and better crushing function. It is mainly used for the crushing of various fruits or vegetables, such as tomatoes, apples, pears, strawberries, celery, etc. It can crush the raw materials into fine particles and increase the working effect of the next processing section. The machine consists of a feeding hopper, a side cover , frame, spindle, support unit, motor, motor design, discharge hopper, etc.
6. Preheating
The pre-heater is used to heat the product after crusher, the temperature is adjustable, normally from 45℃ to 85℃. This processing step, would help to higher the juice rate for next step, and also can protect the color and taste of the final product.
7. Pulper and refiner
The machine also runs at 1470 rpm, creating centrifugal force through which the product will pass through the screen, helping to refine the product. And usually we use two-stage pulper and refiner, the screen of each stage is different, the screen of the first stage is larger, and the screen of the second stage is smaller. The tomato pulp yield of the two-stage pulper can reach 90% to 95%. After the tomato is cooked, the peel and seeds will separate from the tomato pulp. The machine has high running power and stable performance; easy to operate and replace the sieve; suitable for a variety of fruits, including passion fruit, tomato, peach, apricot, mango, apple, etc.;
8. Evaporating
Vacuum Evaporator is used for concentrating the tomato paste under vacuum and low temperature. Here we are using Forced Circulation Vacuum Evaporator. Because it’s under vacuum and low temperature, so the tastes and nutrients would be protected as much as possible. And right now, we evaporate the water from the tomato pulp, then we will get the tomato paste, normally the Brix is 28-30% and 36-38%.
9. Sterilizing
For ketchup, we use tube sterilizers in sterilization tubes. Sterilization temperature and exposure time are adjustable. Using this machine, we heat the ketchup to a high temperature of around 115°C for 30 seconds, then immediately cool to ambient temperature. The same method can maximize the protection of the ketchup dough and nutrients. The whole system adopts programmable control. The operating system adopts a visual human-machine interface, which is friendly and intuitively covers the running status of each component of the equipment.
10. Aseptic Filling
The aseptic filling machine works together with the tube in tube type sterilizer. It’s a closed cycle. Before production, the cycle will be fully sterilized to make sure the aseptic environment. And the filling cavity is also protected by steam to make sure the filling environment is also aseptic. Safety - providing several security methods. 11. Storage or go blending
