Vortex spinning is a new spinning method that uses a fixed vortex spinning tube to replace a high-speed rotating spinning cup for spinning. In a sense, vortex spinning is the real air spinning. The fiber sliver is fed by the cotton roller, and is loosened into single fiber by the licker-in roller, and is fed into the vortex tube at a high speed from the cotton delivery pipeline by the action of the airflow. The vortex tube consists of two parts, the core tube and the outer tube. There are three tangential air inlets on the outer tube, and the lower end is connected with the blower.
The fan continuously draws air from the tube, and the outside air enters the vortex tube along the air inlet to generate a vortex airflow. When the rotating upward airflow reaches the core tube, it merges with the fibers entering the cotton delivery pipe, forms a condensed fiber ring along the inner wall of the vortex tube, and revolves around the axis of the vortex tube stably at high speed, twisting the fibers into yarn. The yarn is continuously drawn out by the take-out roller from the yarn guide hole and wound into a bobbin. The most important feature of vortex spinning is that the high-speed rotating spinning parts are omitted. Due to the use of air twisting, the problem of rotational inertia and bearing load caused by high-speed twisting components (such as the rotor of air spinning) is eliminated, and the problem of increased spinning tension due to the air circle formed by spinning (such as ring spinning).
