Current Handling Capability:

Power any 12 Volt resistive (LED or Incandescent) lighting load up to and including 30 Amp.

Specifications:

Ring terminals with 7/16" hole on fuse holder wire and ground wire to connect power and ground, Fuse Holder W/30 Amp fuse installed, 40 Amp relay W/Mounting tab, Push button on/off switch with red/green LED on/off indicator lights, Insulated ¼” Female Spade connectors installed on wire ends to connect to light/s being controlled. Throughout the harness, Red wire is (+) power and Black wire is (-) ground.

Use Your Own SPST Toggle Switch:

To replace the harness push button switch with your own SPST toggle switch you purchased to control your new light/s, do the following: Cut the three (white,blue,black) wires as they enter the push button switch and connect the white and blue wires to your vehicle mounted switch. (The unused black wire is ground, just ignore it).

Use an Existing Vehicle Light Switch:

If you want to replace the harness push button switch with an existing switch on your vehicle that is already controlling some auxiliary lights, do the following: Cut the three (white,blue,black) wires as they enter the push button switch and connect the blue wire to a wire or terminal on your existing vehicle switch that is energized when the switch is on. Insulate the end of the unused white wire because it has 12 volts on it all the time. (The unused black wire is ground, just ignore it). The load reduction relay in the new harness is connected and fused from a raw power point. The only additional current draw your existing vehicle light switch will see is the current drawn by the relay coil, which is less than 1 amp.
