Expanded metal wire mesh introduction:

Expanded metal is a type of metal stock that features diamond-shaped patterns that are produced by simultaneously slitting and stretching the material. The standard form of this material is known as raised expanded metal, due to its elevated diamond pattern. Raised standard metal consists of bonds and strands that are set at a uniform angle to the plane of the metal sheet, resulting in added strength and rigidity.
Standard expanded metal is a type of metal stock that features diamond-shaped patterns that are produced by simultaneously slitting and stretching the material. Flattened expanded metal is made by passing raised expaned metal through a cold rolled reducing mill, leaving a flat and smooth surface.
