Two type of Steel strip pickling line ( Push-pull and continuous)
To achieve the highest strip cleanliness and high surface quality with a reliable and cost-efficient process JJRS offers modular continuous and Push-Pull Pickling Lines. They are supplied with compact Scale Breakers and customers have the choice of different pickling concepts (i Box, turbulent shallow or flat tanks).
Plant productivity and product quality are substantially depending on the quality of plant automation, process control, and available process optimization functions. JJRS has successfully provided EA solutions for several continuous and non-continuous pickling lines worldwide within the last 15 years with ultimate process conditions and strip quality along the line.
The most important feature for pickling line performance is an advanced pickling model.
The pickling tanks are shallow tanks made of granite specially contoured to permit fast and trouble free threading. These tanks which increases the rate of pickling by causing high turbulence in the tank and thus enabling high speeds with low treatment lengths.
JJRS process sections feature special sealings of the tanks and an efficient fume exhaust and scrubbing system to ensure no release of acid fumes within the plant and exhaust stack release of less than 10 mg/m3 of free HCl. Lines can therefore conform to the most stringent air pollution control norms.JJRS ensures maximum utilisation of the acid for pickling and least wastage through effluents, thus resulting into low consumption of acid per ton of production. Efficient recycling of acidic water in the system reduces drastically the consumption of water per ton.
The waste Pickling Liquor is very rich in iron contents and therefore low in volume. The acidic water effluent is also extremely low.
