Beijing JJRS Technology Development Co., Ltd. registered in national high tech park-Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, is high-tech enterprise specialized in the complete set of metallurgical equipments, intensive processing of steel strip and metal surface coating engineering project, with the integration of mechanism, optics, electric and hydraulic pressure.
Steel pickling is part of the finishing process in the production of certain steel products in which oxide and scale are removed from the surface of strip steel, steel wire, and some other forms of steel, by dissolution in acid. A solution of either hydrogen chloride (HCl) or sulfuric acid is generally used to treat carbon steel products, while a combination of hydrofluoric and nitric acids is often used for stainless steel. Steel pickling and the associated process of acid regeneration result in the emission of hazardous air pollutants (HAPs). Currently, the U.S. Environmental
Most steel producers use either hydrochloric acid (in the carbon steel industry) or HF-HNO3 mixed acid (for stainless steel) for steel pickling. The waste acid produced can either be discharged and neutralized – which results in high costs and a high fresh acid demand – or regenerated.
With our acid regeneration technology, the entire loop is closed. Waste acid coming from the pickling line is regenerated and then used to fill the demand for fresh acid. Furthermore, the majority of effluents from the pickling line can be eliminated, thus saving costs for the entire pickling process and minimizing the environmental impact.
The push-pull pickling line
Continuous Acid Pickling Line
Coil to Coil Pickling lines are a part of the finishing process of flat rolled steel in which oxides and scale are removed from the surface of the strip by dissolution in acid. Generally HCL is used for carbon steel applications and hydrofluoric or nitric acids are used for stainless steel.
Push-pull pickling lines primarily handle coils and do not have welders at the entry sections nor storage areas for the strips. Therefore, each coil is threaded through the process line separately.
