Steel strip CGL continuous galvanizing line

1.25~1.8mm*400~850mm (metal ss)

CGL - Continuous Galvanizing Line The purpose of the continuous galvanizing line (CGL) is to apply a coating of zinc or zinc/aluminium onto the surface of steel strip to improve corrosion resistance. Galvannealing is optionally performed to alloy the coating into the steel substrate.
Thin strip at the CGL may spend only 10 seconds in the reducing zones, while heavier gauges at the CGL may take a couple of minutes to reach the necessary temperature. The. steel is heated to temperatures typically in the range of 1300° to 1500° Fahrenheit.

For good anticorrosion performance, galvanized steel sheet is vastly applied into the industries of home appliance, decoration, advertisement, and civil construction, etc. Particularly, the home appliance industry (outer shell of air conditioner, outer plate of refrigerator, outer shell of washing machine, computer, and microwave oven, etc) and color coated plate has large demands on galvanized plate.

The continuous hot-dip galvanized line is manufactured using cold-rolled steel coil which is coated with a thin layer of high grade zinc on both sides by hot dip zinc coating process. It resists corrosion by supplying barrier and cathodic protection, as well as through the development of the zinc patina. These three levels of corrosion protection provide galvanized steel with maintenance-free longevity for decades. JJRS not only manufacture and install equipment, but also carry out professional technical innovation to the galvanizing plants.
