FM200 is a clean gas automatic fire extinguishing system whose core component is HFC-227ea. This kind of system is widely used in the field of fire protection, mainly has the following advantages:

Usually, the fire can be completely extinguished within 10 seconds, and the FM-200 clean gas fire extinguishing agent has a low fire extinguishing concentration relative to the design of the protected area, only 9%, and can be quickly purified into a clean fire extinguishing gas.
It is very suitable for protecting electrical appliances, magnetic media, documents or valuable treasures and equipment, without damage to the protected items, leaving no residue after extinguishing the fire, completely without interrupting the daily work in the protected area.

However, for certain substances FM200 is not suitable:

Nitrocellulose, gunpowder and other chemicals that oxidize rapidly in the absence of air.

Metal hydrides, such as potassium hydride and sodium hydride.
It is easy to produce self-decomposing chemicals, such as some organic peroxides and biamines.
