Guangzhou Xinlin Firefighting Equipment Co., Ltd. produces an advanced clean agent fire suppression system known as the IG541 Gas Extinguishing System, which utilizes a blend of three naturally occurring atmospheric gases in specific proportions. The composition of this mixture includes approximately 52% nitrogen (N2), about 40% argon (Ar), and around 8% carbon dioxide (CO2). Under normal temperature and pressure conditions, this mixed gas is colorless, odorless, non-toxic, non-conductive, and environmentally friendly.

The principle of fire extinguishment for the IG541 system relies primarily on reducing the oxygen concentration within the protected area to a level insufficient for sustaining combustion, rather than through chemical inhibition or cooling effects. Upon activation, the IG541 gas rapidly fills the protected space, lowering the oxygen content to approximately 12.5%. While this level allows for short-term safe breathing by personnel, it is below the minimum oxygen concentration required for most combustibles to maintain a fire, thereby effectively extinguishing the flames.

This system is suitable for a wide range of critical facilities such as computer rooms, communication equipment rooms, control rooms, libraries, archives, areas housing valuable equipment and cultural relics, especially where there is a requirement that the fire suppression process must not damage the items being protected and may involve the presence of people.
