Heptafluoropropane (HFC-227ea/FM200) is a clean gas chemical extinguishing agent that mainly uses chemical extinguishing and has physical extinguishing effects. It belongs to polyfluorinated hydrocarbons and has the molecular formula C3HF7. It is colorless, tasteless, low-toxic, non-conductive, and non-polluting to the protected object, and will not cause damage to property and precision facilities.


Heptafluoropropane can reliably extinguish Class B and C fires and electrical fires at a low fire suppression concentration; it has a small storage space, high critical temperature, low critical pressure, and can be liquefied and stored at room temperature; it releases no particles or oily residue after release, and has no destructive effect on the atmospheric ozone layer (ODP value of zero); its atmospheric residence time is 31-42 years, which meets environmental protection requirements.
