TW1-1510N Staggered Axial Oblique Gear For Sewing M/C
A pair of helical gears with any helix angle are installed so that their axes are neither parallel nor intersecting, forming a staggered helical gear transmission. Therefore, staggered helical gear transmission is used to transmit motion and power between two staggered axes in space.
The single gear in the staggered axis helical gear transmission is the helical cylindrical gear. Compared with the helical gear transmission, the end face module and end face pressure angle of the two wheels of the staggered axis helical gear are not necessarily equal, and it is more suitable for transmitting motion or low power environments.
In a sewing machine, a screw gear can have various roles depending on the specific design and configuration of the machine. Here are a few possible roles for a screw gear in a sewing machine:
-
Stitch Length Adjustment: Some sewing machines use a screw gear mechanism to control the stitch length. By rotating the screw gear, the distance between stitches can be adjusted, allowing for shorter or longer stitches as desired.
-
Feed Dog Movement: The feed dogs in a sewing machine are responsible for moving the fabric forward during stitching. In some machines, a screw gear mechanism may be employed to drive the feed dog mechanism, controlling its up-and-down movement and ensuring proper fabric feeding.
-
Tension Control: Sewing machines often have a tension mechanism that regulates the tightness of the upper thread during stitching. In certain machine designs, a screw gear may be involved in adjusting the tension by controlling the position or movement of the tension discs or other tension components.
-
Bobbin Winding: In some sewing machines, a screw gear mechanism can be used to drive the bobbin winder. When engaged, the screw gear rotates, causing the bobbin winder to spin and wind thread onto the bobbin.
-
Thread Take-Up Lever: The thread take-up lever in a sewing machine plays a crucial role in maintaining proper thread tension and loop formation. In certain machine designs, a screw gear mechanism may be responsible for driving the thread take-up lever, ensuring its smooth and consistent movement.
