Air cushion headbox is a headbox applying to paper machine speed of above 250m/min, as a key part of paper machine. Headbox is dramatically important equipment in whole papermaking process, it is the key part of connecting slurry preparation and paper shape, the headbox also decides the paper quality and papermaking speed, it's the throat section of paper machine, and name the heart and accelerator of paper machine. Therefore, it is great significance to strengthen the research and development of headbox automatic control system, as we always use Siemens PLC control system. We also use software method to assure the automatic running model of whole starting procedure, and the flow diagram of software is also given, so that the swiftness and accuracy of system is improved.

The system debug is the link of system design, it decides the operation reliability of system.

In the paper making industry, the air cushioned headbox is key junction for connecting delivering and forming section of paper making machine. In the headbox control system, frequency changer changes the rotate speed of roots blower to control the flow of air. Frequency changer also change rotate speed of fan pump to control the flow of paper pulp, add the pressure of air and pressure of paper pulp is the total pressure value of air cushioned.This value decides the spouting velocity.
