3D composite drainage geonet

3D composite drainage geonet is made of special geonet with double- sided bonded geotextile. The combination of geotextile (reverse filtration) and geonet (drainage and protection) provides a complete "reverse filtration - drainage protection' effect. The special 3D structure of the mesh can with- stand high compressive loads during the entire use process, and can maintain a considerable thickness, providing good water permeability. It can replace traditional sand and gravel layers, and is mainly used for drainage of landfills, roadbeds and inner walls of tunnels.

Product Application

Mainly used in drainage projects of railways，highways，tunnels，municipal work， reservoirs，slope protection，etc., achieve a significant effect.
1, laid between the foundation and the base, used to discharge the water between the foundation and the base, block the capillary water and effectively combined into the edge drainage system. This structure automatically shortens the drainage path of the foundation, the drainage time is greatly reduced, and the number of selected foundation materials can be reduced (more fine materials with lower permeability can be used). It can extend the service life of the road. 2. Laying a 3D composite drainage geonet on the base can prevent the fine material on the base from entering the base (that is, playing an isolation role). The aggregate base will enter the upper part of the geonet to a limited extent. In this way, the composite geotechnical drainage network also has a potential role in limiting the lateral movement of the aggregate base, in this way, its role is similar to the reinforcement of the geogridging. In general, the tensile strength and rigidity of the composite geodrainage network are better than many geogates used for foundation reinforcement, and this limiting effect will improve the supporting capacity of the foundation. 3, after the aging of the road and the formation of cracks, most of the rain will enter the section. In this case, the 3D composite drainage geonet is directly laid under the road instead of the drainage foundation. For rigid road systems, this structure allows roads to be designed with a higher drainage coefficient Cd. Another advantage of this structure is that it may allow the concrete to hydrate more evenly (research on the extent of this advantage is ongoing). Whether it is a rigid road or a flexible road system, this structure can extend the life of the road. 4. In northern climates, laying 3D composite drainage geonet can help reduce the effects of frost heave. If the freezing depth is very deep, the geomesh can be laid in a shallow position in the base, as a capillary action blocking. In addition, it is often necessary to replace with a granular base that is not easy to frost heave, extending down to the freezing depth. The freeze-heaving backfill can be directly filled on the 3D composite drainage geonet to the ground line of the foundation. This could potentially limit the development of ice crystals, eliminating the need to limit traffic loads during spring ice melt in cold regions. 3D composite drainage geonet is a new type of geotechnical material for drainage. High density polyethylene (HDPE) as raw material, by special extrusion molding process processing, with three layers of special structure. The middle bar is rigid and vertically arranged to form a drainage channel. The upper and lower cross-arranged bars form a support to prevent geotextiles from embedding in the drainage channel, and can maintain high drainage performance even under high loads.
