Tundish stopper rode nozzle changer main part for automatic control of liquid level

Product profile

The vacuum granulation technology improves the homogeneity and compactability of materials,and enhances the products’stability in use.

The use of Al₂O₃ stopper tip has a superior performance in corrosion resistance to plain carbon steel and aluminum killed steel.

ZrO₂ stopper tip with special surface treatment technology has strong adaptability of high-manganese and high-oxygen content of steel

MgO-C stopper is dedicated to cast steel with Ca(Ca%≧20ppm)

ZrO₂-C slag line has a superior performance in corrosion resistance.

High standard Al₂O₃-C body materials have good thermal shock stability in use.

Working principle

Molten steel flow rate is adjusted by adjusting the gap between the stopper rod and the upper nozzle.

The gap between the stopper rod and the nozzle is controlled by automatic or manual mode:automatic control is made by outside-installed power-driven cylinder and manual control by handle.

The stopper rod can be quickly closed for nozzle change so as to guarantee the billet quality.

The stopper rod can also be used to close the nozzle in emergency of tundish accident so as to protect the casting the casting mold and reduce the loss.
