Hot dipped GI steel sheet & coil is a type of carbon steel coated with zinc through a hot-dip process. This process results in a layer of zinc on each side of the steel sheet or coil, creating an iron-zinc alloy bonding layer by means of diffusion while the heated steel is in contact with molten zinc.
Chesterfield is capable of providing hot dipped galvanized steel sheet & coil that can meet ASTM requirements while satisfying diverse customer-driven surface finish options.
