Ppgi/ppgl (prepainted galvanized steel/prepainted galvalume steel) is a kind of coated metal which comes with organic layer that provides higher anti-corrosion property and longer lifespan in comparison to galvanized steel sheet.

The base metals of such metal include cold-rolled steel, hot dipped galvanized steel, electro-galvanized steel and hot dipped galvalume steel. Moreover, the coating material of ppgi/ppgl consists of a variety of materials, such as polyester, silicon modified polyester, polyvinylidene fluoride and high-durability polyester, etc.

Advantage:

Strong corrosion resistance, 3 times that of galvanized steel sheet. The density of 55% aluminum is smaller than the density of zinc. When the weight is the same and the thickness of the plating layer is the same, the area of the galvalume steel sheet is 3% or larger than that of the galvanized steel sheet.

Color coated steel sheet is made by chemical pretreatment, preliminary coating and fine coating, and is of better quality than single spraying or brushing on the surface of formed metal.

Inside decoration of auto and train, clapboard, and container are all processed through powder coating for transportation purposes.

Powder coating is also applied to the exterior of several electrical appliances. Washing machine, switch cabinet, instrument cabinet, air conditioning, and micro-wave oven are typical examples.

Packing and Shipping:

The Prepainted Steel Coils are usually packaged in bundles, and then wrapped with plastic film and waterproof paper. Each bundle is properly labeled and secured with wooden strips. The ends are covered with cardboard plates.

The Prepainted Steel Coils are shipped by truck, rail, or sea. Depending on the destination, the coils can be directly loaded onto the truck or loaded onto containers and transported by sea.
