Hot Rolled H-Beam Steel:
H-beams are economical section and high-efficiency profile with more optimized cross-sectional area distribution and more reasonable strength-to-weight ratio. It is named because its cross section is the same as the English letter “H”. Since all parts of the H-beams are arranged at right angles, the H-beam has the advantages of strong bending resistance, simple construction, cost saving and light weight in all directions, and has been widely used. The section shape is similar to an economical section profile of the capital Latin letter H, also known as universal steel beam, wide edge (edge) I-beam or parallel flange I-beam. The cross-section of H-beam usually includes two parts, the web plate and the flange plate, also known as the waist and the edge.
H-beam as a new type of economic construction steel. The section shape of H-beam steel is economical and reasonable, the mechanical properties are good, and the elongation of each point on the section is uniform and the internal stress is small. Compared with the ordinary I-beam steel, it has the advantages of more large section modulus,more light weight and more saving metal, which can reduce the building structure by 30-40%. And because its legs inside and outside parallel, leg end is a right Angle, assembled into components, can save the workload of welding and riveting up to 25%.
