High Tensile Galvanized Iron Wire Fencing 3.6mm For Construction Agriculture
Electro galvanized wire, also called cold galvanized wire, is made of high quality carbon steel wire. The processing of this wire is to use electrolytic equipment for galvanizing. In general, the zinc coating is not very thick, but the electro galvanized wire has enough anti-corrosion and anti-oxidation. In addition, the zinc coating surface is very average, smooth and bright. Electro galvanized wire zinc coated commonly is 8–50 g/m2. This wire is mainly used to make nails and wire ropes, wire mesh and fencing, binding of flowers and wire mesh weaving.
Hot dipped galvanized wire belongs to the primary wire products of galvanization. The common sizes of hot dipped galvanized are from 8 gauge to 16 gauge, we also accept smaller or bigger diameter for customers' choices. Hot dipped galvanized wire with firm zinc coating provides strong corrosion resistance and high tensile strength. This kind of wire is widely used for making handicrafts, woven wire mesh, forming fencing mesh, packing products and other daily uses.

Benefits of Galvanized Wire
There are several benefits of high-tensile galvanized wire, including
• The high tensile strength of the wire makes it ideal for various applications, such as construction, fencing, agriculture, and industrial applications.
• These wires are corrosion-resistant compared to other materials.
• The wire is less likely to corrode than different types of wire, making it an ideal choice for electrical conductor applications.
• The galvanized wire comes in various gauges to suit your specific needs.
• The wire can be recycled into new steel products, helping to reduce environmental pollution and conserve natural resources.
Processing differences:
Electroplating is achieved by placing zinc ingots and wires in a liquid bath that is energized. Under the action of the magnetic field, the zinc atoms lose electrons and become ions, freeing zinc blocks, and gradually adsorbing on the steel wire to be plated.
Hot dip galvanizing or hot dip galvanizing is made by dipping steel wire in a bath of hot molten zinc. The zinc layer is formed through an intense high temperature chemical reaction process.
Therefore, electroplating is also known as cold plating and later hot dipping.
The difference between the thickness of the zinc layer and the amount of galvanizing:
The cold galvanized layer is extremely thin, generally only 3-15 microns;
The hot-dip galvanized layer is thick, with a minimum thickness of 45 microns and a maximum thickness of 300 microns.
The difference between performance and service life:
The thin zinc layer of electrogalvanized ribbon can only be used for a short life. Bright at first, pickling or oxidizing in weeks with insufficient acid or humid air.
Hot-Dip Galvanized Wire has excellent corrosion resistance. Depending on the thickness of the zinc layer, it can last for years or decades before severely oxidizing.
