I have tried a lot of glass pitchers, for storing water, tea, juice, kefir, in the fridge, and have been unhappy with all of them. They don't pour right, don't seal well, etc. I tried one of these to chill filtered water, and it was great. No drips, no odors picked up by the water. I just received my second one, for storing tea, so I now have one large and one smaller version. Both are great. Rubber collar comes off the lid for cleaning, too, which is nice. ----By Dawson
