I bought two of these pitchers -- and am glad I did. The shape is perfect, allowing for storing in the door or on the shelf in my refrigerator - unlike others I have tried that are too tall! My girlfriend and I drink a lot of ice tea and apparently we've been doing it wrong until we bought this. We brew cold brew and have started adding fruit. We were using a french press before we bought this and I can tell you there's an inherent difference.

Mainly the difference is in size and clean up. The filter in this is perfect for tea or fruit infused drinks and the price/quality is unbeatable. ----By Stephen

I was looking for a carafe that wasn't plastic and this one is perfect. Although I wish it held a little more liquid, it's probably the perfect size. If it were any bigger, I think it would be a hassle in my fridge. It fits great on the door and washes easily. The best part by far is the flip top. Super easy to use and never drips! Just awesome.
