Since our family member is losing her strength and balance and now using a walker, preparing her daily glass of milk was getting too hard for her to do, especially if the carton is full/heavy. And, of course, she can't carry a full glass to her chair. So I purchased these jars. I fill them up for her, and she makes her way to the refrigerator to get one, puts it in the basket on her walker and no more spills. I love these bottles! I use them for juice to eliminate plastic, single serve bottles. I was surprised that they actually were water-tight and did not leak in spite of the not having a rubber gasket between the plastic lid and bottle.
