Glass Candle Jar Precautions

• Check for Quality: Ensure that the glass candle jars is of good quality and free from cracks, chips, or weak spots. Defective glass can easily shatter, posing a significant safety hazard.
• Select the correct candles: Opt for candles intended for glass containers to prevent any damage. Avoid using taper or sharp-edged candles that could potentially scratch or harm the glass. Opt for pillar candles or those explicitly marked as safe for glass jars for best results.
• Place on a Stable Surface: Place the glass candle jars on a flat, heat-resistant, and stable surface to prevent it from tipping over or sliding. Avoid placing it on or near anything flammable.
• Ensure a safe distance is maintained between the glass candle jar and any flammable objects such as curtains, furniture, or other materials. Make sure there is ample space around the candle to avoid any accidental contact with items that can catch fire.

A: Yes they are sold separately.

2.Q: How do I know what lid is compatible with the container I am ordering?

A: Many of the glass candle jars we offer have more than one lid that is compatible. Each individual container page will have links to the lid(s) that fitthat specific jar. If there are no lids listed, then we do not carry a lid that will fit that container.

3.Q: Do any of the containers come with lids?

A: The Anchor Country Comfort and Libbey Storage glass candle jars are available lidded with the bubble lid, and they are also sold separately if you prefer a different style lid.

4.Q: Can I order lids without glass candle jars?

A: Yes, you can order lids without ordering glass candle jars. Please make sure the lid is compatible with the container you are ordering.

5.Q: How do I measure the diameter of my jar?

A: The diameter of the container will be the widest point across the jar. Some jars will have a smaller mouth than the rest of the jar; make sure you are measuring the widest point of the jar.

6.Q: How full should my jar be filled with wax?

A: The wax should be poured to the widest point of the jar. If you have a container that is egg-shaped or is much wider in the middle than at the top, you may notice that the wax shrinks down some on top. When you are filling into the smaller neck of the container, the top of the wax will tend to cool faster than the middle because it has a smaller surface area, and it will tend to shrink in the center.
