100 Ton Per Day, Sheet Glass Making Machine, Flint Glass, Construction Glass
1. Brief Description
Glass is a special amorphous inorganic nonmetallic material. The main component is silicate, a non-crystalline solid with an irregular structure.
Production process of sheet glass was created by Belgium Glaverbel Company in 1961. Under this kind of process, it can achieve a glass thickness from 0.8mm to 12mm.
Glass melting is a very complex process, it includes physical, chemical and physicochemical phenomena and reaction. These phenomena and reaction lead the mechanical mixed raw materials to complex melting glass liquid.
The melting process is divided into five stages as following, each section has its inner connection, affecting each other. If one stage has imperfect performance, it will influence the next stage, and ultimately affect the quality of glass.
2. Characteristic
Item | Description |
1 | Long-term stable production of thin glass under 3mm. |
2 | Good flatness |
3 | Small variation in thickness |
4 | Excellent product quality |
3. Scope of Supply
4. Raw Materials
Main materials are mainly including:
Silica Sand |
Dolomite |
Limestone |
Feldspar |
Soda Ash |
Salt Cake |
Cullet |
5. Main Equipment Description
For batching and mixing the raw materials.
The melting tank is key part of glass production line, the refractory materials quality is very important.
Compared with the float glass process, the sheet glass is combined with slotless process and horizontal stretching process, forming the glass liquid by slotless tank and stretching rotation method.
