Equipment Overview

EDM leak detectors apply a certain amount of pulsed high voltage on the surface of various conductive substrate anti-corrosion layers. For example, if the anti-corrosion layer is too thin, the metal leaks or there is a pinhole, and when the high-voltage pulse passes, an air gap breakdown occurs. The spark discharge is generated, and a pulse signal is sent to the alarm circuit to make the alarm sound to make the detection of the anti-corrosion layer.

Application

EDM leak detectors can perform quality inspections on coatings of glass, steel, epoxy coal tar and rubber linings with different thicknesses. When the coating has quality problems, such as pinholes, lubricating oil bubbles, cracks and cracks, the instrument will emit a bright electric spark, while sound alarm. Because it is powered by a battery, it is particularly suitable for field operations. The instrument is advanced in design, stable and reliable, and can be widely used in chemical, petroleum, rubber, and enamel industries.
